Josephine Simiyu aka Jossy
Goalkeeper
Our “keeper” is perhaps one of the most important iron lady on the field because she serves as the last line of defense for The Iron Ladies squad. She is smart, has good reflexes, and has the ability to make good quick decisions. While as a keeper her main objective is to prevent the other team from scoring goals, she also serve as the first line of attack of The Iron Ladies by distributing the ball after it has been saved.
Unlike the other players, she is in a very physical position, meaning to prevent a goal, she will use everything she has: body, head, legs, feet and hands.

Wilkster Ingasiani aka Willy
Goalkeeper

She is the Iron Ladies Captain and most trusted central defender, she is the most critical defender on the field after our keeper. She positions herself to protect the keeper and in time of need she is in line close to the keeper. Her main job as the central defender is to protect the center of the field by preventing players from getting the ball there. She is tasked with intercepting passes, tackling attackers, blocking shots, stealing the ball in one-on-one situations and much more.
As central defender she doesn’t always have huge roles offensively, but she does play a role when it comes to gaining and keeping possession. She is able to possess the ball, and make passes to the attackers after she steal or intercept the opposing team’s passes.

Robai Tondo
Defender (Sweeper & Central Back)
She is one the Iron Ladies most trusted central defenders, she is a critical defender on the field after our keeper. She positions herself to protect the keeper and in time of need she is in line close to the keeper. Esther Khaendi Jones aka Lulu
Defender / Striker
With her ability to play in any defensive position and also has a strong ability in any striking position. Her main playing position being the defense of the Iron Ladies, she positions herself on the the right spot at the right time. She possess a good amount of athleticism and stamina. Her main job is to defend the opposing team’s. Just like all our Backs she has really quick feet and plays with physicality. Oftentimes she is put in one-on-one situations where she must take the ball, force a pass or she might risk putting their keeper in a compromising situation, however she is an Iron lady she keeps her keeper safe.

Eunice Mmboga
Midfielder
With her ability to play in any mid field position and also has a strong ability in the central mid field position plus the wings. Her main playing position being the central midfield. She positions herself on the the right spot at the right time. She possesses a good amount of athleticism and stamina. Just like all our mid’s she has really quick feet and plays with physicality.
She is also involved on offensive strategies, actively participating in various initiatives and campaigns aimed at achieving success on the field, collaborating closely with her team mates to develop innovative tactics that not only enhance performance but also foster a spirit of team work and competitive play among her peers.

Florence Vakhoya Shivoko aka Flo
Defender
With her ability to play in any wing defensive position and also has a strong ability in the wings. Her main playing position being the defense of the Iron Ladies, she positions herself on the the right spot at the right time. She possess a good amount of athleticism and stamina. Her main job is to defend the opposing team’s. Just like all our Backs she has really quick feet and plays with physicality. Oftentimes she is put in one-on-one situations where she must take the ball, force a pass or she might risk putting their keeper in a compromising situation, however she is an Iron lady she keeps her keeper safe.
She is also involved on offensive. As a right-back she will join the offensive attack if her team is attacking the right side of the field, and as a left back she will join if the attack is on the left side of the field.

Jeridah Adam aka Njeri

Our wingers position themselves on the touch lines to create space naturally.
A lot of scoring in football comes from the middle of the field, but most of those assists come from our wingers. Our Wingers are really good all around players. They’re skilled passers, have great footwork, solid shooting skills, stamina, speed and are able to handle the ball well. Our wingers travel along the boundary, dribbling the ball and looking for good pass entries for others in the middle of the field.

Nicole Hawi Muteshi
Winger / Striker
She is one of the two wingers on the Iron Ladies squad and also doubles up as a striker. She is good in the wings and striking. As one of our wingers she is positioned along the left and right touch lines of the field.
