Friday 5th December 2025 will forever remain a golden moment in the history of The Iron Ladies Soccer Club as the team came together to celebrate one of their brightest stars — goal-scoring maestro and now Engineer, Nicole Hawi.
The day began at the graduation ceremony, where Nicole officially earned her engineering qualification to cheers, ululations, and joy from both her family and her football family. Immediately after the ceremony, the entire team travelled to Nicole’s home, where they were warmly welcomed by her proud parents and extended family.

Nicole’s mother expressed heartfelt gratitude to the club, saying,
“You have been Nicole’s second family. You stood with her through every challenge, and today you celebrate her like your own. We are deeply thankful.”
Her father added,
“This team has shaped her discipline, confidence, and strength. God bless The Iron Ladies.”

An Emotional Visit Followed by a ‘Lit’ After-Party
After the family visit, the team headed to an after-party hosted at the home of the Club CEO & Team Manager, Jeff Mudembei. The celebration was lively but also filled with touching moments as Nicole shared her emotional journey of balancing sports and academics.
Nicole’s Emotional Speech
Fighting back tears, Nicole addressed the team:
“Engineering was not easy. There were nights I wanted to give up, days I felt overwhelmed, and moments I doubted myself. But every time I stepped on the pitch, you reminded me who I am. You pushed me, encouraged me, and kept me going. I thank God for giving me teammates who became sisters. This achievement is ours — not just mine.”
