The Iron Ladies Soccer Club officially made their long-awaited debut in the FKF Women National Super League with a spirited performance that ended in a 1–1 draw against FC 105 Starlets at a packed Matete Stadium.
It was a proud moment for the team and fans alike as The Iron Ladies stepped into a new chapter of their football journey with passion, resilience, and unity.

The Iron Ladies’ moment of history came early when Nicoline Hawi (“Nicole”) scored the club’s first-ever NSL goal in the 13th minute, slotting home from close range to send the fans into wild celebrations.
FC 105 Starlets, however, found an equalizer later in the first half through a well-worked counterattack.
The Iron Ladies showed courage and composure despite being labeled underdogs before kickoff. The second half was completely dominated by the home side, who created numerous chances but were denied by the FC 105 goalkeeper’s heroic saves.

🎉 A Birthday to Remember

The day ended with joy as the club surprised legendary defender Florence Shivoko, who missed the debut due to injury, with a birthday celebration on the pitch.
Fans and players joined in to share the birthday cake, symbolizing unity and the strong family spirit within the Iron Ladies camp.
“Even though I couldn’t play, being celebrated by my teammates and fans means everything to me,” said Florence Shivoko. “I’ll be back stronger — and next time, I’ll celebrate on the pitch.”
