📰 COMEBACK QUEENS: Iron Ladies Rally to a 2-2 Draw Against Promised Starlets
Despite battling fatigue after a grueling two-hour friendly against NSL side Trans Nzoia Falcons, the ever-resilient Iron Ladies Soccer Club made the trip to Mwitoti, Mumias in Kakamega County for yet another pre-season build-up and scouting fixture — this time against the fast-rising Promised Starlets.

The encounter was intense and closely contested, ending in a 2-2 draw. The Promised Starlets showcased promise and resilience, proving to be a worthy opponent and testing the Iron Ladies’ depth and endurance.
Iron Ladies’ utility player Shelvin stole the show, netting a brace to cancel out Promised Starlets’ lead and preserve her team’s impressive unbeaten run, which stretches back to April. The last time the Iron Ladies tasted defeat was during the FKF Women Cup Round of 16 clash against Vihiga Queens.
