On 22nd Dec 2024, in preparation for the Karamoja Super Cup of Bramwel Karamoja, THE IRON LADIES SOCCER CLUB travelled to Bungoma County in Bukembe for a friendly match against Chekulo Queens. The atmosphere was filled with excitement as fans gathered to support their teams, and the players were eager to showcase their skills on the field. Again, The Iron Ladies Soccer Club were boosted by their recent 3-0 demolition of Chegulo Queens from Malava Sub County in Kakamega in their quarter-finals encounter, a performance that not only elevated their confidence but also set the expectation for their continued success. After the huge victory, the team travelled to Chekulo, Bukembe in Bungoma County for this build-up friendly match, which was seen as a critical part of their training regimen, helping them fine-tune their strategies and teamwork in readiness for the semi-final match against Makhima Queens. With strong determination and unwavering commitment, the players held every hope of qualifying for the finals, knowing that their hard work would pay off if they maintained their momentum and kept up their winning spirit.
The Chekulo Queens were nowhere close to competing with the Iron Ladies, and the full-time score proves it all as the Iron Ladies hammered the Chekulo Queens 12-0, showcasing their dominance on the field. The game was a display of sheer skill and teamwork, with standout performances from several players. Notably, Pammy Pamzo Krisn and Delyne Wanyonyi each scored three goals, demonstrating not only their striking abilities but also their understanding of the game’s dynamics.
